I am currently sitting in the KIMEP new library, they’ve got a great range of books on political theory in here. There are a few Routeledge International Relations textbooks, which makes me feel at home. Disappointed to see they only have three Progress Publishers titles, and they’re all fiction books.
Nothing from Foreign Languages Press as far as I can tell.
They’ve got a fairly big section on ‘Military Science’, I picked up the War of the Flea by Robert Taber. The section also has Warriors of the Steppe: a military history of Central Asia, some studies of nuclear conflict, and a few books on the Chinese Peoples’ Liberation Army.
Today is my birthday, and my first day of proper classes. I’ve bought some cake from pamctop pamctop to celebrate.
