I got up this morning to find the street outside blanketed in thick sheets of snow. Here’s the view south across Aylestone Meadows.

I made a wobbly cycle journey into town.

As usual I had a long list of tasks to do, but instead I got up late, spent most of the day outside, got back in the mid-afternoon and the time slipped past. It’s now 8pm, I’ve turned the heating up, and I’m running down the rest of the evening playing Settlers of Catan online with my parents.
