I’ve got some plants to put on the big windowsill in my apartment. Here is my sarococca humilis, a sweet box shrub.

This shrub is like a pet, but with far less maintainance. It is described by the Royal Horticultural Society as

…tolerant of atmospheric pollution, dry shade and neglect.

So it’ll fit right in here :/

I’ve got into the very therapeutic habit of picking it up and moving it around the room in the mornings, so that it’s always sitting in a ray of direct sunlight. ☀️

Also, it smells really sweet!
