Paris is a good city for doors framed by elaborate stonework. The big Hausmannian apartments come with sturdy double doors, and they’re all decorated differently.
Here’s one near Citroën Park.
The park is full of rectangular shapes and straight lines. I stood at the southern corner of the moat looking towards the Seine, a metro train slid past in the distance and it felt like the set of a sci-fi film.
With that futuristic landscape in mind I went about spotting more modern-looking doors.
See this entrance paved with black tiles, the wall around the entrance curves inwards slightly and the door is reinforced with metal slats.
